Morley Mar 20, 2024 15:05:33 | Remove Acrylic Lacquer I have an IKEA table with an acrylic lacquer finish over a dark stain on oak veneer. I would like to strip and refinish so that it is lighter. What stripper would you recommend? |

I think it is a catalyzed lacquer or tougher type becuase I was not able to soften it with lacquer thinner, methyl hydrate or ethanol. Which of the Circa 1850 Furniture Stripper or Heavy Body Remover would be more effective on catalyzed lacquers? |
