Neil Oct 06, 2007 23:14:58 | RE: circa 1850-how to open If you referring to the paint stripper just squeeeze the tabs on the caps past the stopper. If the cap is on to tight and is spining in the can, use a long nose pliers to hold the neck of the cap and turn the top part of the cap with a regular pliers. good luck |
LuAnn Oct 07, 2007 11:03:03 | RE: circa 1850-how to open you're right. the cap was on too tight, but i did get it open...with the help of pliers and my son. it is a 2-person project!!!! but once opened, the stripper worked great!!!!! thanks!!!!!!!! |
R. Chaine Oct 13, 2007 17:15:55 | RE: circa 1850-how to open I am a wood turner and wish to coat some turnings with nu-lustre 1850. Turnings such as salad bowls, candle holder, and such. Since the turnings are round can i apply nu-lustre 1850 with a paint brush? |
