Mark, this one's for you. I'm fabricating polymer modified concrete countertops with a stone texture imprinted in the surface. However to create a smoother texture and be durable i've been using your epoxy as a top coat. very good stuff but kinda plasticky looking. What in your opinion would be the best sealer for this application, for durability(scratches), looks , and be foodsafe.

thanks in advance

Bob

You do not need a sealer on top of Nu-Lustre-55. It is 100% epoxy that is completely non-toxic and food safe. Nothing will penetrate into it.

If you want to prevent scratches, it would be best to apply a high quality clear paste wax (such as Antiquax Marble Wax) on top of the finish.

You can also make the whole surface SATIN by buffing with 0000 steel wool or very fine sandpaper.
