Yesterday i was stripping a dresser a good part of the day.I was using gloves recommended for stripping and i felt a heat sensation through there. Today a have heat flashes in different areas of my body. So my question is is CIRCA toxic to a body even when using gloves |

RE: toxicity Message: It is always a good idea to have at least two pairs of stripping gloves. As soon as you feel a sensation, remove the gloves and put on another pair. Allow the original pair to aerate. There may also be small holes in the glove (especially if doing hand stripping with steel wool) that is allowing solvent to penetrate. The only gloves that are completely impermeable to solvents are very thick (approx. $30) viton gloves. Circa 1850 strippers are non-toxic by skin absorption, but you may have had a reaction to the exposure. It would be prudent to avoid any further exposure until the symptoms subside. |

RE: toxicity Message: Would circa 1850 lemon oil polish be toxic to my canary, who is very precious to me? Thanks. Sunshine's owner. |
